HAVE YOUR SAY!

The Government is encouraging all local communities to produce a Neighbourhood Plan
to give us all the chance to have a say in Datchet's future development and growth.
Thanks to
the help and support we have received from the community, the plan has now reached another milestone - Regulation 16

ANOTHER STEP FORWARD - REGULATION 16 CONSULTATION

Very many thanks to everyone who commented on the Datchet Neighbourhood Plan during the recent Regulation 14 public consultation. The Plan has now been revised and supporting documentation drawn up. This was approved unanimously by Datchet Parish Council on 11 July 2022 and the revised plan and supporting paperwork were submitted to RBWM for the next stage, known as Regulation 16, on 18 July 2022. Click here for more details.

REGULATION 14 CONSULTATION

The Reg 14 Public Consultation on the Datchet Neighbourhood Plan ran from 21 March to 15 May 2022

DATCHET DESIGN GUIDE

The Datchet Design Guide has been adopted by RBWM cabinet as a Supplementary Planning Document.
It is intended to help home owners, developers and planners maintain and improve Datchet
in ways which are in keeping with our village. Click here for more details.

HERITAGE BUILDINGS

We asked you which buildings should be considered as 'non-designated heritage assets' and preserved for future generations. Click here to find out what you told us.

LOCAL GREEN SPACES

Neighbourhood Plans can identify green areas of particular importance to local communities. Read more here

GETTING AROUND

How should key routes for pedestrians and cyclists be improved? Read the results of our survey here

PLANNING FOR CLIMATE CHANGE

We asked you how new development should adapt to the challenges of climate change.  This is what you told us.

DOWNSIZING

What are downsizers looking for? Find out here.

HOW POLLUTED IS DATCHET'S AIR?

On Clean Air Day 2019, we asked what would make it easier for you to walk or cycle? Read the results here.
We've been monitoring the air quality at four sites in the village.

WHAT'S ON YOUR WISH LIST FOR DATCHET?

If more public open space became available, how should that space be used, and why?

NO NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN doesn't mean NO DEVELOPMENT, it means NO CONTROL
